Cocktail Meatballs (Favorite of Grandma Linda)


  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup minced onion
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. snipped parsley
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. Worcestershire sauce


1. Shape into 1” balls and brown in ¼ cup shortening or oil.

2. Remove meatballs from skillet and pour off fat. Heat:

  • 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce and
  • 1 (10 oz.) jar grape jelly

Stir constantly until jelly melts. Add meatballs and stir until thoroughly coated. Simmer uncovered 30 minutes.
