Lasagna (Favorite of Andi)

 Ingredients:

  • 12 oz package Lasagna noodles
  • 30 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 jars of Prego Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 lb ground Turkey

1.  Put the Spaghetti Sauces and the ground turkey into the crock pot in the morning.  1 ½ hrs before dinner, cook the noodles.  Shred the ground turkey into the sauce, preheat oven to 425. 

2.  In a bowl, mix the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of the Mozzarella cheese, ¼ cup of the Parmesan cheese, the eggs and basil. 

3. In a 9 x 13” pan, spread ½ cup of spaghetti Sauce.  Cover this with 4 noodles, overlapped.  Spread ½ of the cheese mixture on that, and top with 1/3 of the sauce.  Cover this with 4 noodles.  Spread ½ of the cheese mixture on that, and top with 1/3 of the sauce. 

4  Finally, cover this with 4 noodles, and top with the last of the sauce.  Sprinkle with remaining Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.  Cover Lasagna with a foil “tent,” and bake for 30 minutes.  Uncover and bake until cheese on top is melted.  Makes 9-12 servings.
